The bag policy for your sports event is an important thing to know before heading out to the game. It is definitely not fun to make the walk from the parking lot to the entrance gates only for the stadium staff to tell you that you can’t enter with the bag you have brought along. Houston Astros Bag Policy
The Houston Astros bag policy does not allow Backpacks and Bags exceeding 16” x 16” x 8” inside Minute Maid Park. All bags are searched at entry.
Houston Texans Bag Policy
The Houston Texans bag policy follows the NFL clear bag policy. The Houston Texans bag policy limits the types of bags that you can bring into NRG Stadium. The following bags are what you may bring inside NRg Stadium on gameday:
- Bags that are clear plastic, vinyl or PVC and do not exceed 12” x 6” x 12.” (Official NFL team logo clear plastic tote bags will be available through club merchandise outlets or at nflshop.com/allclear).
- One-gallon clear plastic freezer bag (Ziploc bag or similar).
- Small clutch bags, approximately 4.5” x 6.5” with or without a handle or strap.
- Small binocular or camera cases no larger than 4.5”x 6.5” with a handle or strap.
- The Texans will make an exception for medically necessary items after proper inspection at a gate designated for this purpose.
Houston Dynamo Bag Policy
The Houston Dynamo bag policy does not allow fans to enter BBVA Stadium with bags larger than 4.5” x 6.5”. Medical Bags and diaper bags are an exception. All items are subject to search.
Houston Rockets Bag Policy
The Houston Rockets bag policy states that bags and purses must not exceed 5.5 X 8.5 inches for fans entering the arena. There is a strict “no bag policy” for all other bags and purses to help improve the touchless fan environment. Bag lockers will be available on a rental basis for fans that need them.
University of Houston Bag Policy
The UH Clear Bag Policy strictly limits the size and types of bags that are you can bring into TDECU Stadium. UH does not permit you to bring items such as backpacks, purses and diaper bags into TDECU Stadium. UH strongly encourages fans not to bring any bags. However, UH does allow the following into the stadium:
- Bags that are clear plastic, vinyl or PVC and do not exceed 12”x6”x12”
- One-gallon clear plastic freezer bag (Ziploc bag or similar)
- A small clutch purse no larger than 4.5”x6.5”, with or without a handle or strap. These small clutches are subject to search
- UH will make an exception for medically necessary items after proper inspection at the gate by arena personnel
Texas A&M Football Bag Policy
If fans are bringing bags to Kyle Field, bags must be clear and not exceed 12” x 6” x 12” or be a clear 1 gallon re-sealable plastic freezer storage bag. One per person.
The only non-clear bags permitted are small clutch bags (with or without a strap) that do not exceed 4.5” x 6.5”
Texas A&M will make an exception for medically necessary items after proper inspection at designated areas.
University of Texas Bag Policy
The University of Texas bag policy limits the types of bag that you can bring into Darrel K Royal – Texas Memorial Stadium.
Bags that are permitted include:
- Bags that are clear plastic and do not exceed 12″ x 6″ x 12″
- One-gallon clear plastic freezer bags
- Small clutch bags or purses do not have to be clear but cannot exceed 4.5″ x 6.5″
Bags not permitted include:
- Backpacks, printed pattern plastic bags, fanny packs, purses, reusable grocery totes, mesh or straw bags, duffle bags, large totes, camera or binocular cases
- Diaper bags are not allowed. Items normally carried in a diaper bag must be put into a clear plastic bag for venue entry
